The Dream Gathering fairy slumbers into the fields of good dreams, remembering the innocence and wild ones that dreamed before the rational. She perches resting her head on her arms in moss and dappled sunlit velvet, hen feather wings attached with abalone shells and on her arm a beach found stone with a hole in it strung on dear hide leather. Her hair is a roasted honey mohair and she is pure magic. 61/2 inches tall.

Daydreamers Spirit Dolls are hand sculpted out of polymer clay and each is one of a kind.

They are one solid piece, the full body is sculpted clay over wire. They are then dressed in found fabrics, feathers and mohair.

I became inspired years ago by my Grandmother Margo. I wanted to show her inner tranquility and wisdom and how it glowed through her aging body. At first glance she was an old wrinkled woman but with a deeper look she was so much more.

At my first showing, I found that Women especially responded strongly with stories of their Grandmothers. I decided I was on to something.

Now 17 years later I sculpt all ages and beings. I love to sculpt inner emotions that are joyful and serene.

I hope they bring you as much joy to see as they do for me in making them.

I never tire of watching each spirit and character emerge.

Each doll is packaged carefully and beautifully in all new materials.

I'm writing, however, to tell you that I think your dolls are stunning! They touch something deep inside my soul. I am very into earth religions (Druidry in particular) and these beautiful women -- older, wiser (I'm 62), more serene -- are spectacular.

I want to encourage you to continue this wonderful art form. I salute you for your courage in taking a different path. Age is not ugly -- it's beautiful!
